RoomLedger privacy FAQ: how are photos, addresses and signatures handled?
Property inspections may contain addresses, interior photos, serial numbers, signatures and tenant or owner information. Before using RoomLedger, understand what stays on the device, where measuring or label reading happens and what changes after you export and share.
Does RoomLedger keep a cloud copy?
Under the current product policy, property, report and inventory data are stored on the device. That keeps the original under your control but also means the provider cannot restore it after deletion or phone loss. Export a ZIP and keep your own backup.
What happens when you export?
PDF, CSV and ZIP are created on the phone, then you choose where to save them and who receives them. The copy is subsequently governed by the service or person you share with. Send only what is needed, remove sensitive details where appropriate and set clear permissions. Read the RoomLedger privacy policy.
Distinguish records you enter from anonymous usage statistics and from files you move into Files, Photos, email or another sharing service. When contacting support, a model, app version and error often suffice; do not send another person’s photos or signatures unnecessarily.
Note: Features and policies can change. Check the current official policy in the landing page and app.
