How to Review a Handover Report Before Sending It

A report can have many pages and still be difficult to understand if it lacks dates, rooms, captions or links to original files. A final review catches the wrong property photo, missing meter reading, incorrect key count and vague wording. RoomLedger helps create and export the report; a person still needs to approve it.

Review structure and exported files

Check property, permitted address details, date, inspector and handover purpose. Add a version or creation date when there are several drafts. Every room should have a wide photo, attention points and captions. Compare inventory lines with photos, model, serial, accessories and condition. Check meters and keys for code, unit and date. Open the PDF, inspect CSV columns and open random ZIP images. Keep originals and the review person’s name.

Fix errors in a new version or addendum rather than silently changing a sent file. If a cause is uncertain, describe the observation and mark it for professional review. Share the minimum package and protect signatures, addresses and private photos. Ask another person who was not at the inspection to find the source, room and date; their questions reveal unclear captions.

Note: A RoomLedger report is not automatically a legal conclusion, technical inspection or valuation.
