Does my iPhone need LiDAR?
No. LiDAR room scanning works on iPhone Pro models that have it. On other iPhones, take photos, measure with AR where supported, or type in dimensions — you still get the full report.
How accurate are the measurements?
They’re approximate. Results depend on the phone, the light and the room. RoomLedger is not an official survey, so don’t use its figures where exact measurements are required.
Is the report legally binding?
RoomLedger gives you a clear, dated record, but it isn’t legal advice and doesn’t guarantee how anyone will treat it in a dispute. Check your lease and local rules.
Do exports cost anything?
No. Report PDF, inventory PDF and CSV, and ZIP exports are free on every plan.
What happens if I stop paying for Pro?
Nothing is deleted. Properties beyond the free limit become read-only, and you can still open, view and export them.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything is stored on your phone. There’s nothing to sign up for.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings and tap Erase all data. This deletes every property, scan, photo and report on your phone. Deleting the app does the same.
