Why You Should Keep the Original RoomLedger Export

An original export is a snapshot of the data at export time, before redaction or formatting. It lets you identify what a report used, compare versions and return to photos, inventory and notes. Name it with property, date and version, store it with limited write access and never edit it directly.

Create a new snapshot before handover, a claim, equipment replacement or app removal. Make redactions and short PDFs from a working copy, record what was hidden and keep the package sent.
