How to Record Furnishings Included with an Apartment in RoomLedger
An inventory is more than item names. Reviewers need the room, quantity, visible condition and accessories. Work room by room, using consistent names for beds, sofas, tables, cabinets, lights, mirrors and equipment. Take a wide photo for context and close-ups for labels, models, serials or damage.
Describe scratches, chips, dirt, missing accessories, working when checked or not checked. Do not call an item “new” or “good” without a defined standard. Link the inventory to the handover form, let the relevant people review and sign, and keep PDF, CSV and ZIP exports.
When an item is replaced, record the date and link old and new records. A receipt or serial identifies an item but does not prove current condition or value. Explore RoomLedger.
Note: An inventory documents observed condition; it does not replace valuation or legal conclusions.
