Landlord Inventory Checklist Before Handover

An inventory should be readable and comparable, not just a folder of images. Work room by room and record furnishings, appliances, accessories, walls, floors, doors, meters and keys. Take wide and close-up photos and mark inaccessible areas as not checked.

Let the tenant review each section and correct errors before signing. Record date, attendees, open questions and the official handover form required by the agreement. Export PDF, CSV and ZIP, open samples, name them with property and date, and restrict private information. If the parties disagree, preserve both notes and the images instead of deleting the dispute. Note: A checklist does not replace the lease, local law or legal advice.
