How to Check a RoomLedger Image Fingerprint

Finish capture, selection and folder structure before hashing. Record file name, room, record ID, date, version and whether you hash each image or a ZIP. Open the image before sending and keep the manifest with the package.

If a hash differs, check the exact file, download, compression, tool and version. Do not edit the image to force a match. Create a new package from stable source, record the reason and keep the old copy. Fingerprints supplement captions, timeline, reports and originals; they do not prove the story in a photo.
